There are at least two artist with this name: 1) Deda (born Nick Dida in Mount Vernon, New York) is a African American rapper who was closely associated with legendary rapper and hip-hop producer, Pete Rock during the 90s. In 1992, he made his debut on Pete Rock & CL Smooth's Mecca and the Soul Brother (on the song "The Basement"), and again appeared on "In the Flesh", from 1994's The Main Ingredient.
