Born in 1968, in Tallinn, Estonia, Uku Nurk's ethnic and experimental music consists elements of oriental music and estonian ethnic music. Many arrangements consist live instruments and his voice, witch he uses not for singing but as an instrument.
Due his analoq equipments, there is a lot of melancholic tracks as
an expression of long Estonian winters.
Uku Nurk started making music when he studied metal art in Tallinn Art Academy. Lot of tracks are never published or played, music was more like a diary of thoughts, as melodic paintings or impressions.
